1.What is meant by UKVI IELTS alternative?

English is the main language of the United Kingdom. The ability to speak English to a competent level is essential to ensure successful integration and progression in the UK.

The English Language Assessment service is available to individuals who need to demonstrate their English language ability for the purposes of work, study or registration with a professional body.

UKVI IELTS Alternative provides an assessment and a statement (from UK National Recognition Information Center) to confirm for applications to work, study or register with a professional body that an international academic qualification deemed comparable to a UK Bachelor, Masters or (in exceptional circumstances) Ph.D. degree is taught in English to the standard of CEFR B1, B2 or C1.
